For 700 years the Frescobaldi family has combined tradition, experience and innovation with creativity and the pursuit of excellence.
The family has always looked to develop and celebrate the diversity of Tuscany’s terroir. Being proud owners of some of the greatest vineyards in this region they have always sought to maintain the identity and autonomy of each property.
ATTEMS, one of the oldest Estates in Friuli and has flourished under the Frescobaldi family’s ownership. It is just one of the estates owned by the family alongside ORNELLAIA, MASSETO, DANZANTE, LUCE DELLA VITE and the six FRESCOBALDI Estates, Nipozzano, CastelGiocondo, Pomino, Ammiraglia, Castiglioni and Remole.
A lovely straw yellow introduces Attems Chardonnay, followed by rich aromas of ripe apple. Full and well structured on the palate, it shows appreciable weight and a crisp mineral edge.
This Pinot Grigio is characterised by a straw-yellow colour. Its bouquet is marked by a impressive fruitiness, and the palate demonstrates all of the amazing qualities of the Collio: superb weight and viscosity, mineral-edged, savoury, tangy, and lively.

The Ribolla Gialla variety is long traditional to the area and yields a white wine that is straw yellow in appearance, marked by a very delicate bouquet of floral nuances. Its refreshing crispness and lively acidity make Ribolla Gialla ideal as an aperitif.
Attems Pinot Grigio Ramato continues a tradition of the Republic of Venice, since “ramato” was the term that referred to Pinot Grigio. A special vinification practice led to the use of this term: the must remains in contact with the skins for about 10 hours and this practice gives the wine a beautiful rosè hue. Our Ramato boasts a rich, complex bouquet of crisp fruity impressions including white peach, and cantaloupe followed by blackberry and bitter cherry with an intriguing hint of wild flowers. On the palate the wine is enveloping with a pleasant acidity and long mineral finish of red fruits.
A Sauvignon Blanc vineyard lies on a hill called Cicinis in the heart of the Collio area. Expert care is lavished on it by those with centuries-old knowledge of this terroir, to create Cicinis, the Attems’ iconic wine.
