Ripe Al Convento Brunello di Montalcino

Manufacturer: Frescobaldi
"On the highest hills of this estate, which has been producing wines since the 1800s, a small Sangiovese vineyard that gives us extraordinary emotions is found. The 450 metre altitude, exposure to the hot afternoon sun, marly soils and bountiful Mediterranean winds give this Brunello Riserva wine tremendous elegance, character and longevity".

CastelGiocondo Brunello Di Montalcino

The village of Castelgiocondo overlooks the historic estate of the Frescobaldis in Montalcino: an ancient stronghold built in 1100 to defend the road leading from the seato Siena. The property is one of the first 4 to begin producing Brunello di Montalcino in 1800, and its historic importance is represented on the label of Castelgiocondo by the figure of acondottiere from acelebrated fresco of the Sienese artist mone Martini. The artist’s depiction shows Guidoriccio da Fogliano, commander of the troops of Siena who in 1323 led the attack on the Montemassi castle; an historic moment that coincided with the initiation of the Frescobaldi family’s centuries-old adventure in the world of wine.

Prior Valdobbiadene Prosecco 1500ml - Bortolomiol

This is the number one sparkling wine from the Bortolomiol traditional line. The Roman numeral on the bottle and the name Prior bear testament to the fact that Giuliano Bortolomiol had the intuition to create a brut Prosecco at a time when it was only ever an extra dry. Prior symbolises Giuliano’s pioneering spirit and his belief in Prosecco di Valdobbiadene (now Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg) and in the Martinotti Charmat sparkling wine-making method with fermentation in an autoclave, also known as the Italian Method.
